Asthma is a chronic disease that causes the airways -that carry air in and out of your lungs - to become sore and swollen.
Children have smaller airways than adults, which makes asthma especially serious for them.

Symptoms are more common in the early morning

Allergens - mold, pollen, animals
Irritants - cigarette smoke, air pollution
Weather - cold air, changes in weather

Infections - flu, common cold
Asthma is treated with two kinds of medicines
1.)quick-relief medicines to stop asthma symptoms
2.)long-term control medicines to prevent symptoms.
